Sometimes lines fall in interesting places. In Black Forest
Reserve, the line between two school districts intersects the
property. The good news is, they’re two of the best districts
in the state — Academy District 20 and Lewis-Palmer District
38.
Academy School District 20
District 20 is located along Colorado’s spectacular Front
Range and has been serving the educational needs of students
residing in the Colorado Springs’ north end. These schools
offer many academic programs aimed at facilitating students
in reaching their goals with an enriching school experience.
The curriculum given is recognized throughout the Pikes Peak
Region for its strong emphasis on the core academic subjects.
In addition, the Choice School program allows students to attend
a different school in the district that may offer a different
school schedule or curriculum focus.
Lewis-Palmer
School District 38
The Lewis-Palmer School District 38 has been serving the Monument
and Colorado Springs area for well over 100 years. In the pursuit
of excellence, the schools are committed to providing students
fundamental educational experiences in basic skills, cultural
knowledge, and personal well-being. The ultimate goal is for
students to become self-directed learners. This is achieved
with a wide range of classes and a strict curriculum that will
help students in their search for success.
